My DBSs mainly stopped my tremors, but as far as I can tell never helped my
poor balance, stiffness, micrographia or dystonia. My trouble speaking
started after the DBSs so it is impossible for me to know whether that is
PD or DBS related. Tremors drove me nuts. Now once in awhile there is
slight tremor breakthrough, but it was definitely worth the DBSs. Since PD
meds never helped me (except once) I stopped taking them.

My neuro gave me the leva/carbo to see if that is still the case as since my
fall last April I have gotten so much worse. I had a psychological trauma
around Christmas as my "caregiver" threw out my mother's ashes. Any kind of
physical or emotional injury makes me irreversibly worse.

I'm having lots of company this month and Feb so I'm waiting to experiment
again.

Thanks, guys - all who responded - re dosage.
