Just to let you know, I am scheduled to have my DBS next Wednesday 11th Feb, at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
This operation will be diifferent to traditional DBS in that it will target the area of the brain responsilble for gait problems such as posture, freezing and falling. which are my main problems at the moment. This area of the brain is called the Pedunculo-pontine nucleus.(PPN).
Assuming all goes to schedule, I will send progress reports as soon as I can.
