They did admit some time ago that they couldn't find any neuroprotective 
effect in selegiline. Neuroprotective effect is very difficult to prove (or 
disprove) so it is safe to claim all the new drugs have a neiroprotective 
effect, as they do. Later, they find it isn't true but they have sold a 
lot ,meanwhile.
