I have a question My throat feels sore half-way into most days. This has been the case now for months. My Internist Dr. took a swab, had it tested (I'm not sure for what) and it came back negative. I am losing the throw power in my voice so I assume that both are related and it's my latest PD symptom. More disturbing, however, is my latest physical discomfort for about the last month, which is an acrid (perhaps too strong a word as yet) taste? smell? feeling? - I don't quite know how to describe it, in the back of my throat, my nasal passages or both. It's as if I'm in an over-chlorinated pool area with inadequate ventilation. The intensity remains the same since it began but the frequency of occurrence is increasing. It seemed to begin last month when I came into a bathroom which had just been sprayed with a mold fighting product and was clearly a result of breathing in that air. We had a mouse infestation over the winter which has now been cured and the residual aroma of perhaps still undiscovered mouse dirt despite exhaustive cleaning in my garage and workroom gives me the same feeling. My wife used an 'orange' type cleaner on the kitchen counters this morning an hour before came into the kitchen and I immediately knew she had done so as I walked in. It makes me very uncomfortable and has been getting more so as weeks progress Is this a PD thing? If not, perhaps it is as a result of the mouse dirt cleaning, which I discovered can be somewhat toxic. Of course I made my discovery on the Internet only after I had already cleaned. I intend to ask my roster (ain't it the truth) of Drs. including my Neuro, but I find that discussing PD symptoms with people who have them (like me), is fruitful because there are no blank stares. That is, unless this is not a PD symptom in which case I'm getting blank stares all over the world. Paul **************A bad credit score is 600 & below. Checking won't affect your score. See now!
