Dear Moneesha

The Malaysian Chinese also love the joss sticks. But I don't think the joss sticks or the powder contain any heavy metals.

Talking about culture, once, a local politician commented that the Malaysian Chinese spent too much money on burning joss stick and joss papers.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience in India. Interestingly, the Indians in Malaysia seldom burn joss sticks.
