Kathleen, I apologize if I offended you.

We have discussed this topic on the CARE list often. You are right - one 
size does not fit all, but those of us who have cared for PWP have found 
that this trait is very common, even in those who have YOPD.  Some have 
suggested that it might be a marker for the disease.

The bottom line is that when this characteristic is observed in a PWP then 
the caregiver, or friends and family, needs to be understanding and refrain 
from thinking that they can bring about a change in behavior.
