Kathleen, since men also use the acronym, I can't see the "A" part of
ROFLMAO being called "derriere".  Using 'Rolling On (the) Floor Laughing My
Derriere Off' would just fade off into oblivion. wouldn't do.

Here's a link to a list of internet acronyms and their meanings, lightly
sanitized. They define ROFLMAO as "rolling on the floor laughing my butt
off." Dear me, how coarse. I think they should have chosen "derriere."  :-)
