How do you explain the Canadian system? If we trim the excesses of the  
American for-profit system, there is ample funding for all. At least  
there is for many other countries, i.e. France, Germany, Britain, etc.  
Just look at the percentage of GNP expended by each country.  
Eisenhower said, "Beware the military-industrial lobbies." But I full  
well understand that the lobbies profiting from wars is just too  
powerful and well entrenched to deal with.
