I know that this is a very complicated issue. If you are looking for a good health care model, I think the UK has a rather successful one. The British government takes good care of their Parkinson's patients. All the DBS surgery and even the expensive Apomorphine skin infusion are sponsored by the NHS.
Talking about health policy, next year, we in Malaysia will set up a National Parkinson's Policy, which is based on the NICE Parkinson's guidelines of the UK. I am going to ask our Health Minister to incorporate the British health care system into ours.
President Obama has to work very hard to improve the American health care system.
