Thanks for enlightening me.

I personally believe that every government in this world has the responsibility to take good care of the people's health. Fortunately, being a former British colony, my country still maintains some of the policies left behind by the British. Generally the Malaysian government provides reasonably good health care. Malaysians can check into any government hospital and get the treatment with minimal cost. 

But as far as Parkinson's is concerned, out treatment is outdated. That's why we are constantly requesting our Health Minister to set up a National Parkinson's Committee, which makes sure that we have adequate annual allocations for Parkinson's medications and brain surgery (DBS).

But we also have a lot of private hospitals - it is a lucrative business. Almost all patients are insurance policy holders.
