Sami et al, Re: Requip: I have been taking Requip (ropinerole) for 7 years
or so, and I finally quit the stuff last week. I just could not take the
continual exhaustion and sleepiness which overtook me daily, so I went to my
neuro and he took me off it. I was last on a dose of 3mg 3 times a day and
have been on doses greatly varying from this level. I don't know what
implications I will unearth, but two things have happened since my Dr.'s
visit:
1) Sleepiness hasn't overtaken me mid-day, and my energy level has increased
2) Despite an increase of Stalevo from 50 to 100mg times 3 per day, my
tremors have noticeably become stronger.

I used to tolerate unheard of amounts of requip, and now I can't
imagine...kind of like my career as a pot smoker.

Frankly, my dears, I don't give a damn about the twitch if I can stay awake
and alert.

And Sami, I have given up on organizing or clearing my 'in box'! Hopefully
I won't delete my million dollar prize!

Enjoy!
Rick McGirr

As you can see, I am way behind in reading my mail.

Carl, It never hurts to check the e-mails before you delete them. There may
just be something in one of them that can help and don't we all need that
little boost that's in the e-mail that you accidently delete?

Sami

I do delete all of them but that takes time. Is there any other option?
