In a study released last year it assessed the driving skill ability in PD patients. In conclusion, it suggested that the caregiver riding with you is the best judge in determining when it is time to turn the driving over to others. In an accompanying review, it is suggested that doctors who are asked to evaluate your abilities to drive incorporate the caregiver questionaire in assessing your capabilities.
