A member with a HotMail web account sent an ad to the list unawares to her by hackers who cracked her password and sent ads to all in her contact list. If you use any of the web based email program beware that lists of personal information has been posted on hacker sites and your email program can send anything the hackers desire without you knowing it. In the members case I had to delete her subscription until she changes her email password to something harder than her name. Strong passwords include mixed case letters and numbers longer than seven characters. If you have a simple password, there are crooks that can control your computer and sell your personal information. Everyone change your passwords on your webmail accounts.
