My husband Alan's speech therapist, gave him a telephone number of another parkie in our town, that was the father of her girlfriend. Alan called this man, chatted a bit, and has set-up a luncheon for this Thursday:>) The man is still driving, not sure how well, but is driving and picking him up. Alan is looking forward to their luncheon. Imagine that! I am very excited, as is Alan, to be out and about on his own, with a fellow troubadour. They both will probably look like James Bond, is what I am visioning. Very handsome. I'll trim Alan's beard extra carefully. love being able to share, patti -----Original Message----- From: Parkinson's Information Exchange Network [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Joan Blessington Snyder Sent: Monday, November 02, 2009 2:37 PM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: a thought Kathleen, my dear, you are so very right!
