My own experiences with doctors (while my husband was being treated for a rare and eventually fatal cancer) was that they'd say anything to get you to participate if you seemed like a good subject. They are more concerned about their academic careers sometimes than the patients (not all doctors, obviously, but I did find this to be true in very competitive, highly ranked research centers). So, yes, tread carefully. kathy t. Rick McGirr wrote: > Jen, a whole lot has been tried and has failed, not to mention messing > people up in the process. Do what you will.
