hi,

I have these STABILicers and they make a HUGE difference.  I feel very  
safe,(isn't that amazing!), walking on slippery, icy walkways, even  
brick ones.

Since they are a bit hard to get on and off, I just leave them on a  
spare pair of shoes and change shoes when I enter a building.  That  
way I don't have to remove the "treads" each time.

You can find them at sporting goods stores and large retail stores.
