As A general rule , and not to be dismissive , PD is an idiopathic disease
i.e. no known cause. As such we are all searching for a cause as to why us.
Chelating is a chemical process that basically describes the preferential
bonding process that generally occurs within a chemical , biochemical for
us. Iron is the most use chelating agent although mercury or in fact any of
the transition metals can be a chelating agent.
It would be more than simplistic to infer that this process is the cause of
PD.
Hope this helps john thomas

Hi John,
If memory serves, and mine often doesn't, removing mercury fillings
poses a greater threat than simply leaving them alone.
