Valentina, I am working on a similar problem, though not in preaching, but through the study of Latin sources for theory, principles, of acting. While I have not found documents to support the correlation between preaching and theatre, correlations between rhetoric and acting in delivery may be helpful. See for example, my article on Giles of Rome's [theologian and prior general of the Austin friars, 1292] 13th-c. commentary on the relationship between rhetoric and acting in Aristotle's rhetoric [Elza C. Tiner, "Aristotle's Rhetoric in Late Medieval England: Giles of Rome on Rhetoric and Acting," _Research Opportunities in Medieval and Renaissance Drama_ XLVII (2008): 82-106] and Jody Enders' book, _Rhetoric and the Origins of Medieval Drama_ (Cornell UP, 1992).
