Scott I can't help but return your favor about sleeping problems. I woke up at 3 a.m. this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. I realized that I had forgotten to take my amitriptyline before I went to bed. I have been taking this for 18 or so years since I was diagnosed with PD. I rarely have sleep problems when I take this. I am most fortunate. I had DBS surgery in February and I am a new person. It was like a miracle happened. I have been able to drive again and live on my own. I value my independence. I do take Sinemet and Requip but the dosage is small. I am completely off Stalevo which I was taking 6 times a day and then I still had freezing spells.
