My mother has received IV Glutathion for over 3 years with great success and major
reduction of symptoms.

She was told of this therapy by a friend with PD. We had seen him and how stiff he was
from PD, and then the next time we saw him, he looked completely normal and was riding
his bike daily and walking quite a bit. He reported having gone to see Dr. Perlmutter,
and so we followed up and found a doctor in our location to write the prescription.

Mom had not been able to write legibly and after the first injection that problem was
solved, and more..

And yes, there have been studies done. One came out this last summer and was published
by the National Parkison's Foundation. The study did not follow the dose level and
other recommendations of Perlmutter with results which showed no improvement.

At this point, I've had enough contact with enough people who have received IV
glutathione with success to know that there is merit in its use at least for some, but
we also augmented Mom's program with several items mentioned in Dr. Permutter's book
which covered this topic.

The first injection she got at the doctor's office resulted in an increased walking
speed immediately. Mom didn't notice it but my brother and I most certainly were aware
of how she walked at an almost normal speed. It was unmistakable.

She now gets injected twice a week by a nurse, and she is not having any significant PD
challenges at this time. Shaking is substantially down and remained down. Her other PD
medications (Azilect and Sinemet) have not needed any dose change since starting the
glutathione.

I've not been opening the PD emails for a few months, just deleting them at this point
but happened to open this one which was a bit negative about glutathione, suggesting if
no studies were done that it might be "perspired", and that sort of ridicule struck me
as clearly coming from ignorance. There are pharmacies who sell it and they have
doctors listed and you can contact these doctors and ask their experiences.

ONE MAJOR POINT - There is no downside to this medication which has other health
benefits - no side effects, and minimal cost.
