Dear Sir, I hail from distant Sri Lanka,and was diagnosed with mild forms of PD in July 2008,and now have neck pains and headaches and even pains in my rib cage areas and at times stiffness to move for afew seconds at atime. What would you recommend to me. i do not want to commence with strong medicaments as I am only 60 years old.. I sleep well, but get up with a heavy head or a feeling of low pressure though pressure is normal when measured at the clinic. I experience this heavy headedness most times of the day and feel down and out mostly in the first half of the day,ie..morning and early afternoon,and feel better in the evening. please advise. I stopped working resultantly due to pain etc,. I exercise on the treadmill afew times a week and splash about in a pool afew times week and take a steam bath 3 times a week, is this o.k. I drive as I cannot afford a driver nor a taxi..is it o.k. I am om Sinemet-62.5 mg,4 times per day, one tablet every 6 hours,is this sufficient,is this why I am feeling out of sorts,please advise regards stiffness, pains,heavyheadedness etc. Is there a nerve tonic you could recommend? He comes three times a week for about an hour and a half each time. Prem had earlier taken yoga classes, but he found it difficult to sustain it regularly. The yoga instructor is able to do with him whatever he feels is necessary with his current health status. For example, after his fall and consequent rib fractures, he has avoided doing anything involving the torso. Prem invariably comes out of the room looking brighter and more cheerful. His mobility and balance always seem better.
