Anti-science supporters of Senate Bill 1307 and House Bill 2652 are guilty of crimes against humanity because they block the scientific stem cell research that could improve the lives of millions of people who suffer from incurable diseases and injuries. Defining human eggs as persons is not only absurd, but misrepresents the fact that this research is about microscopic undifferentiated cells in a petri dish, not fetuses, babies or kids. It is also not about cloning people or creating hybrid chimeras, but about cloning and manipulating cells to develop treatments for ill people. This ignorant defense of cells is going to keep Arizona at the bottom of the biotech industry, so there is no need to worry about mad scientists coming to Arizona and cloning people.
