There are several objections to using non-pharmaceutical substances
for treating Parkinson's. Among these are:-

1. The purity of the substace cannot be guaranted.

2. The concentration of the active ingredient cna be very variable.

3. There has been no double-blind testing (where a substance is
supplied to a PWP taking part in a trial of a new mediication. The
substancemay be a genuine medication, or a placebo [harmless
sujbstitute].) Neither the PWP nor the administering doctor knows
which is which. That way, any relief that the person receiving the
actual medication feels is liable to be genuine, and not distorted by
the desires of either the doctor or the patient.

4. No toxicity testing hsa been done.

5. No testing has been done of the possible side-effects of the
substance.

6. No testing has been of the effects of the subatance on other
medication.

7. The substance may be illegal, with all that that portends.

There is more, but you get the picture.
