Patti, having worked in home health care I can tell you that there is always 
reason to re-certified a patient.  Just be sure to sit down with your 
husband's doctor and let him know the facts.  Your husband has probably 
benefited from PT and that is reason enough to re-certify so that he 
continues to gain function.

It appears that there is no objection to this discussion from the list and 
since some of you are reluctant to join CARE perhaps this subject should be 
addressed.
