MY SISTER IN LAW DID THE SAME THING--IN HER CASE IT WAS DIAGNOSED AS ALZHEIMER'S "FORGOTTEN HUNGER". THE PROBLEM WILL NOT GO AWAY ON ITS OWN AND BEFORE SHE LOSES MORE WEIGHT--TAKE HER TO GET A PROFESSIONAL EVALUATION, BEFORE SHE LOSES MORE WEIGHT. IT IS NOT AS AN UNCOMMON PROBLEM, AS YOU MIGHT THINK. In a message dated 3/29/2010 11:00:35 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, [log in to unmask] writes: Sue has been slowly losing weight since her PD diagnosis 6 years ago. Down from a typical 130 to 115. She still eats 3 meals a day, but claims a lack of real appetite. Any insight as to whether this is PD related, or whether we should look toward other problems?
