After reading David Bevington's  very helpful, 'Staging the  
Reformation: Power and Theatricality in the plays of William Wager' in  
_Interludes and Early Modern Society_, I worked out a doubling scheme  
for _The Virtuous and Godly Susanna_ according to its title page,  
advertising that 'Eyght persons may easyly play it.', and it works  
well. Here's a question for the list: Are there any interludes that  
don't live up to their title page 'billing'? ie doubling schemes that  
don't work with the ' ___ persons may easyly play it' ? Just curious.
