I have been diagnosed with Parkinson for two years now.  I am not on any medicationsyet since my symptoms are relatively mild, although they have gotten worse lately.

I always thought that I should start drug therapy as late as possible because their effectiveness diminishes over time as one takes them.   Are there drugs that have protective affects?
