Roberta, I don't have PD but I had terrible foot pain when I used a treadmill. Turns out, the treadmill makes you walk in a way that is unnatural - so pain ensues. My suggestion would be to get a stationary bike and ditch the treadmill if you can. We have discussed stationary bikes before on this list. They are supposed to have therapeutic value for PWP because they don't affect joints but do help with muscle strength and balance.
