Sorry, I have no idea about that. This is an anecdote from the doctor, who did not share any other facts. I am of the view that one should not try natural therapies without guidance from a medical professional. Which is why, despite the easy availability of mucuna and also turmeric, we consulted the doctor about them. He advised against the mucuna and advised half a teaspoon of turmeric everyday.
