Judith, I was a very good friend of David's. As I understand it he fell out of bed and was found a couple of days later. He was alone at the time. What a terrible way to die! He fought many demons in his lifetime. I tried many years to get him to relocate to the east coast where I live so that he could be near those of us who cared about him. He never would though. I know there are many who miss his special brand of humor.
