Dear Ray,

I am so glad you are back after this horrible ordeal. We were all
worried. You are very resilient in the face of this.

Thinking of you,
Kathy T.

My stimulators started dying before then, at end of June but my neurologist thought they were OK. Week of August 10 Teresa left for Bolivia and her daughter Patricia (just graduated physician's assistant school) took me to see Dr. Pagano's replacement for vacation. He didn't know beans about programming, so we got Medtronic programmers to come to Pagano's office the following Monday. They confirmed that one stimulator was dead, the other one dying. We got appt with Dr. Pootraluk the following Friday and surgery scheduled for Monday August 23rd.

The symptoms are always with me, it is just a matter of degree. Now that I've got new stimulators I am working my way back to my old "normal" which is why even emailing was impossible.
