The reason I asked is that I take Amantadine, now for about 15 years, with no hallucinations but I tried to take Comtan and couldn't because of hallucinations.  Goes to show you that what works for one person does not necressarily work for anoter

no, he has been taking comtan for quite awhile. 
it is the amantadine causing the hallucinations. 
He is very weak and slow.
