I'm 75 and was diagnosed three years ago, although in retrospect I had
symptoms long before then.  I do pretty well on medication (sinemet,
azilect, mirapex) but do find speech more difficult.  Some stuttering,
searching for words, long pauses, dropped voice volume.  I've found that
LSVT has helped that quite a bit, however.   Alf
