What a difference from the congressional election in 2008 -- two years ago the candidate's views on ESCR played a significant role, and the advocacy communities were strong and vocal. In 2010 no one seems to want to talk about it In spite of now having a President who supports the funding, we seem to be further away from a U.S. policy that fully suoports regenerstive medicine.
And in addition to loosing Castle, we are also loosing Arlen Spector in the Senate, (who became a Demorat and then lost the primary) who was probably the most dedicated and active advocate for ESCR in Congress. We're being told now that there is little interest or will in Congres to pass a stem cell research bill in the lame duck session.,

PAN advises us to contact our reps. and Senators NOW to secure their support for a possible vote on a stem cell bill or a repeal of the Wicker-Dickey ammendment, after the election.
