Steve,
Read where you were wondering what the link is between emotions and severity of symptoms. I am not sure what the link is but there definitely is a correlation. Just from my own personal experience. I was diagnosed at 40 and that was 16 years ago. The first 6-8 years I had very slow progression of pd. Now just within the past couple of years since I quit working I can tell a difference with my emotions and severity of pd. I still am lucky that my progression has not speeded up alot but I have increased wearing off from meds and sometimes alot of dyskinesia. I feel like my anxiety has began and increased quite alot too. Before my diagnosis I was rarely ever anxious that I was aware of. This pd is for the birds, but guess we all do what we have to.
Will close for now. If I find any thing factual re: emotions and pd severity I will let you know.

Pat P.

I've noticed many times a connection between my emotions and my
ovement symptoms. I joke that I'll never play poker again. My face
ay be poker but my feet will be tap dancing loudly under the table
