i've just finished a most enteraining AND informative book - "Bad Science" by Ben Goldacre. It's all about how to get scientific tests to prove what you want them to prove, without actually lying - or even knowing what exactly you're doing. Not sure publication was wise tho, it'll give some creative types ideas....
