sounds like you have a great program, Dick. In my first years with PD I got out to treadmill, etc. Did not keep it up as I should of during my Mom's final illness. PD meds don't work for me (Amantadine helped but gave me hallucinations. We stress balance exercises and core ab work. Additionally we do strength and cardio workouts. On Saturdays we work out at a local park with a large group in the boot camp workout mode for two hours. I find that using a Bosu Ball (a mid-sized ball that has been sliced to provide a flat side extremely helpful for balance exercises. I sometimes hold on to a chair or wall to stabilize myself. I work out with my daughter at the gym. We motivate each other and are sometimes joined by friends. I find that a trainer is helpfull both from giving me instruction on how to do the exercises and, more importantly, from giving me motivation to show up to the gym. Frankly, I see PD more less as a impediment and more as a challenge.
