Hi Mildred,

It is never good to get the diagnosis of PD, but you are certainly fortunate
that you have such a wonderful husband, children and grandchildren.  While
it is depressing to think that one has to contend with a progressive
illness, the reality for all of us is that we do not know what tomorrow will
bring.  The only sensible thing is to make the most of today and be thankful
for all one's blessings.  I came to this conclusion several years ago while
trying to come to terms with my husband's diagnosis when he was just 56.
Though there have been challenges, I also have to say that there have been
many happy moments.

Do as many things and whatever you want to do.  Its really a question of
looking at the glass as half empty or half full.  I am sure you are already
on the way to looking at it as being half full.
