Michele

I have had Parkinson's for 22 years and I can appreciate what you are
going thru. It is not a fun disease. I found out that exercise was
the best way to handle it and it was before exercise was promoted for
PD patients. My friends used to say I didn't look like I was sick
but I used to freeze a lot. I was a real estate broker until I had
to stop that position and moved back to New York to be close to
family. I suggest that you find a support group to help you through
this nightmare. Also check the Internet for the hundreds of sites on
PD. I was on Stavelo 6 times a day and then I had DBS surgery and
now I take a minimum dosage of Sinemet. The surgery was a miracle
for me. Not everyone is a candidate for it and some times it doesn't
work, but if your neuro suggests in somewhere down the road, I would
go for it.
