if they are so similar to ESCs I’m thinking they might be objectionable to 
the religious right who oppose  ESCR.  They are calling the shots today re 
research.

Hmmm.... 1% difference, "virtually identical'', "very similar"...
I agree Ray. This is potentially bad for research.
