Call NOW and Request Support for NIH Funding!

The House and Senate are reaching a critical deadline to pass a budget for Fiscal Year (FY) 2012 that will support the critical mission of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). We need you to contact your Members of Congress and urge them to support funding for biomedical research.

The Parkinson's community strongly supports robust funding for biomedical research, including plans to develop a National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Translational research aims to transform basic research findings more quickly and efficiently into better treatments and meaningful health outcomes. For the medical breakthroughs of tomorrow to occur, basic discoveries must be translated from the lab into clinical trials and viable therapies and cures. Learn more.

You can help ensure NIH receives funding to support biomedical research and to establish NCATS in FY 2012! Please call your Members of Congress today to urge their support!
