I receive error messages as the result of our subscribers to Parkinsn linking Parkinsn to social and business networks. Current LinkedIn notifications to Parkinsn and subscribers clicking on Send to Email buttons on news sites that are directed to Parkinsn, are two of major concerns for me. The listserv only recognizes From: email addresses from subscribers. Those messages to Parkinsn from other email addresses are rejected and an error message is sent to me. Spam purveyors also get caught in this trap. Please do not link Parkinsn to your social or professional networks. If you find something of interest on news sites, to other Parkinsn subscribers,copy a short excerpt and paste it into a Parkinsn post with a link to the full article. In times past we were able to paste the full article but with the clamping down on copyright, only excerpts are permitted now. The current practice shields the University of Toronto and Barbara Patterson and I from the copyright "Police". Do not use the "Email" button on news sites to send stuff to Parkinsn because it will end up in the waste bin and I will have another error message.
