Ok, in the first place I am not a member of, nor do I receive any info from FRC. This article came from a proponent of Adult Stem Cell research and the successful treatment of major health problems. My response to your and Rick's post was based on, according to Dr. Prentice, scientific facts supported by the National Academy of Sciences, The National Institute of Health, the President's Council on Bioethics, and others as footnoted in the article. As stated, I am not an authority and that's why I asked the questions..I am somewhat puzzled by your negative response attacking the credibility of Dr. Prentice and the FRC, since my questions were mostly taken from quotes and info from the entities mentioned above, not on unsubstantiated claims by any "pseudo" entity. It is remarkable that you didn't answer the questions, but instead chose to attack the credibility of Dr. Prentice. Since you evidently have info that substantiates your description of his credibility, I would appreciate it if you could forward that. What I have, (in his testimony) is that he was Professor of Life Sciences at Indiana University for 20 years, Adjunct Professor of Medical & Molecular Genetics at Indiana University School of Medicine, participated in federally-funded laboratory research and advised on these subjects extensively, both here and abroad. Does this qualify him as a viable source, or a charlatan? If you have proof that he is lying about his credentials, I would lead the charge to discredit him.
