Nic after a month of amantadine: animals, people like my dead mother, intruder-monster at night, but strangest of all super thin saran wrap type substance over everything, day and night. My neuro says the filmy substance is most common hallucination with amantadine. I felt like I was in another dimension. after a month of Elavil: big black spiders on walls and ceiling at night, not as bad as amantadine. unfortunately for me the amantadine really helped PD symptoms, but I couldn't tolerate the hallucinations which were "unfriendly". -----Original Message----- From: Nic Marais Sent: Thursday, March 15, 2012 12:49 AM To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: PD DRUG FOR BRAIN INJURIES What kind of hallucinations Ray? I would see for example a spider, and if I blink and it's still there, It's not a hallucination ;-) Amantidine does wonders for me. Unfortunately the effectiveness seems to be working off :-( Nic 60/18 On 15 March 2012 05:58, Rayilyn Brown <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > damn it, amantadine gave me hallucinations! > > > http://www.marketwatch.com/story/rbcc-promising-new-parkinsons-therapies-may-also-treat-brain-injuries-2012-03-14 > > > Ray > Rayilyn Brown > Past Director AZNPF > Arizona Chapter National Parkinson Foundation > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto: > [log in to unmask] > In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off Parkinsn send a message to: mailto:[log in to unmask] In the body of the message put: signoff parkinsn
