Hi Scott.

            Yes, my symptoms seem to mirror yours, falling over after 
sitting or kneeling, likewise when walking a relatively short distance such 
as putting the trash bin out for collection (about 10 paces), is a situation 
which I try to avoid mainly  because it is on a gradient which is guaranteed 
to make me fall.
Also, when at home and confronted with a multiple choice of which way to 
walk round an object, it seems that I get a subconcious  urge to take the 
"fall"option, and I fall. I have also started to do the " Reverse Parkie 
shuffle,  " which has all of the benefits of the standard shuffle, plus you 
can't see where you are going to land!!

Isn't PD a wonderful thing!!
