Hi Scott. Yes, my symptoms seem to mirror yours, falling over after sitting or kneeling, likewise when walking a relatively short distance such as putting the trash bin out for collection (about 10 paces), is a situation which I try to avoid mainly because it is on a gradient which is guaranteed to make me fall. Also, when at home and confronted with a multiple choice of which way to walk round an object, it seems that I get a subconcious urge to take the "fall"option, and I fall. I have also started to do the " Reverse Parkie shuffle, " which has all of the benefits of the standard shuffle, plus you can't see where you are going to land!! Isn't PD a wonderful thing!!
