Linda, I started with Requip as Meg describes, as a monotherapy before going on carbilevodopa. I didn't like Requip— edema, sleep attacks while driving. Eventually I switched to Mirapex and found it more tolerable, adding c/l after that. About a year and a half ago I titrated down the Mirapex, so I'm at a very low dose. I've never heard of anyone getting off c/l and onto Requip.
