Thanks so much for your detailed response.  This disease certainly presents 
many dilemmas.  I think I need to start journaling frequently to see if I 
can sort my issues any better at this point.  I strongly suspect that the 
intensity and duration of pain will dictate stronger measures for me as 
well.  So glad to hear that you are feeling a little better each day now. 
That has to instill some hope.  I have to appreciate that I was over 65 when 
I was diagnosed so that my same-age friends have many issues with aches and 
pains, too.  I'm sure some of mine are related to sliding over the hill.  My 
favorite quote is "old age ain"t for sissies".  Never a truer statement
