I commend you for having the awareness to tuck. After falling enough times,
these things start to work into your reflexes.

not ridiculous - but in your classes you knew you were going to fall so
could prepare. When I slipped on a wet patch in the bathroom I didn't have
much time for planning on the way down - just time to tuck my head in.
