Dear Colleagues:

Dr. Robert D. Brook, Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Michigan
Division of Cardiology, an international authority on the cardiovascular
consequences of air pollution, will be our Merck Frosst Distinguished Visiting
Professor on Tuesday December 4.

At noon, in the 12th floor Bayer Conference Room, Eaton Central, TGH, he will
be presenting Cardiology Academic Rounds on the topic of "Air pollution and
cardio-metabolic diseases-a potential global health epidemic".

We have set aside time for members of the Department interested in discussing
their own work with Dr. Brook to meet between 9 and 3 p.m. on December 4.
