We are going to a new neurologist/MD Specialist. Sue has been feeling more and more 'off' times with Sinemet. She is now taking 1-25/100 every 2 hours, and doesn't feel any relief until 1/2 hr or so after dose, then 'wears off' in another hour or so. Doctor has suggested adding Apokyn, an injected drug used to ease the wearing-off effects. It sounds good, until of course you read the warnings and side effects etc. Anybody have any first hand experience with Apokyn?
